We were on an incursion into the empire of the mad. It's a world I've always felt dizzy in. I have often stood in unstable balance on the edge of abysses.

Un violoncelliste évolue au beau milieu de l'installation confrontant sa déambulation à une centaine de pièces insolites. Il tente de se frayer un chemin entre ces objets en équilibre instable, taquinant quelquefois un oeuf ou l’autre du bout de son archet, les confortant dans leur chute.
Dans une chorégraphie assumée, la gestuelle précise confiée à son instrument contraste avec sa démarche à la fois agile et volontairement maladroite offrant une grâce tendue. L'équilibre précaire est perturbé. Passant progressivement de l'ordre au chaos, la pièce musicale évolue aussi au fil du cheminement du musicien, laissant une œuvre palimpseste où se superposent les interventions des deux artistes.

A cellist moves through the installation, his movements intersecting with a hundred unusual objects. He attempts to navigate between these precariously balanced pieces, occasionally teasing an egg or another with the tip of his bow, encouraging their fall. In a deliberate choreography, the precise gestures he directs with his instrument contrast with his simultaneously agile and intentionally clumsy gait, creating a taut grace. The precarious balance is disrupted. Gradually shifting from order to chaos, the musical piece also evolves along the musician's path, leaving behind a palimpsest-like work where the interventions of the two artists overlap.

En référence à l'anecdote historique de Christophe Colomb, un insolite oeuf se maintient debout uniquement une fois perché sur une des arêtes de son socle où un aimant est subtilement dissimulé.
Face à cet affront de déséquilibre et d'incertitude, l'objet provoque une interaction et un dialogue. Stabilité précaire, ode à l'audace. 
De par sa forme et sa symbolique l'objet suggère une sensible approche tactile.

In reference to the Christopher Columbus anecdote, an unusual egg can only remain upright when perched on one of the edges of its base, where a magnet is subtly concealed. Precarious stability, an ode to daring. In the face of this affront of imbalance and uncertainty, the object provokes interaction and dialogue. 

Through its form and symbolism, the object suggests a sensitive tactile approach.
