Longue et vaine tentative d'envol. Absurde et pathétique démonstration de nos dérisoires vanités et ambitions. Une étrange chimère ailée sortie d'une mythologie déchue repose sur le marbre. Bien campé sur ses 4 pattes, ce rôtissoire chypriote vrombit d'un grincement sourd. Son moteur actionne maladroitement un battement d'ailes au rythme ruminant des rotations de ses broches de cuisson. Quelques plumes effleurent le charbon.

A strange winged chimera from a fallen mythology rests on the marble. Firmly planted on its 4 legs, this Cypriot rotisserie hums with a dull creak. Its engine clumsily activates a flap of wings to the ruminating rhythm of the rotations of its cooking spits. A few feathers brush the coal.

Détermination à quand même voler de ses propres ailes quand bien même condamné par la pesanteur et la gravité du comique de situation. Bourreau de lui-même, Icare est sur son propre bûcher et se sait forcément déjà grillé. On observe à l'auto-cuisson de son rêve de voltige.

Search for meaning in the utopia of a flight. Weight of heavy ambitions. Determination to still fly with one's own wings even though condemned by the gravity and seriousness of the situational comedy. Executioner of himself, Icarus is on his own stake and necessarily knows he is already grilled. We observe the self-cooking of his dream of aerobatics.
