Laurel was thin as a nail, Hardy more imposing. One ethereal, the other down to earth, only their hats flew.

Laurel était mince comme un clou, Hardy plus imposant, l’un aérien, l’autre terre à terre, seuls leurs chapeaux volaient.

Laurel is locked in a closet. Hardy looks everywhere for him, can't find him. He finally opens the doors, find him in the closet and says to him : But why didn't call ? Laurel answers to him : It was so dark that I thought you wouldn't hear me.

Laurel est enfermé dans un placard. Hardy le cherche partout, ne le trouve pas. Il finit par ouvrir la porte, le trouve dans le placard et lui dit : Mais pourquoi tu n’as pas appelé ? Laurel lui répond : Il faisait tellement noir que j’ai pensé que tu ne m’entendrais pas.
