Le La is a set of Grappa glasses. 

The seventh reversed one is a ceremony bell, the one of the announcement of a speech or to call the server to fill the glasses once again or....

Unaware of the fact that his glass was half full or half empty, failing to know how to decide, he made it ring in a clear tone of a A. The ceremony was in full swing, everyone turned to him to place the preliminary silence in a meaningful speech. In an improvisation almost as spontaneous as his ethylism, he swayed a memorable recital in the same tone of the A.
